The Sandusky County Department of Job and Family Services along with the eight counties listed below implemented a call center know as COLLABOR8. These nine (9) JFS Departments share a telephone and imaging system between counties to service public assistance consumers.
A Sandusky County Grand Jury recently indicted Fremont resident, Kelly Provonsha, on charges of tampering with records and grand theft.
Full-time position. Social Worker wanted to coordinate recruitment, screening, approval/licensing and training of adoptive/foster homes. Serves as liaison between agency and adoptive/foster parents and is responsible for planning of special events related to adoption/foster care. Also carries a caseload of children in permanent custody. Applicants MUST have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice or closely related area. Prior experience is helpful. A valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record is required. The candidate may have to drive personal vehicle and must maintain required liability limits. Government agency is seeking applicants for position of Fiscal Supervisor. Job duties will include but are not limited to supervising and managing fiscal employees; directing and managing fiscal functions of the agency; preparing various fiscal reports, studies and records; advising the director and other administrators on fiscal and budgetary matters; and develop and monitor contracts.
