Job Seeker Services

Job Seeker services are available to the universal customer, who is anyone coming to an OhioMeansJobs Center seeking assistance. These services are informational services and may require limited to no assistance for OhioMeansJobs Center staff.

 

Career Services- The OhioMeansJobs Center provides resources such as computers with internet access; dvd’s; job listings; area maps; various workshops dealing with interview tips, resume writing, etc.; copy and fax machines; telephones; and more to job seekers of any age and/or walk of life.

Individual Services- Individual Services are provided to those job seekers who are unable to find work in Career Services. Some examples of Individual Services are as follows: In-depth assessments, development of an Individual Employability Plan, Pre-vocational services and counseling and career assistance.

Training Services- Training Services allow those who are unable to find employment thru Career or Individual Services to enter into a training program to obtain necessary skills to start a new career.
