We have not received any additional info from OCSE as of this date, but the following has been updated on the IRS internet site.  It appears the IRS will offset an amount up to the outstanding child support debt.  Spouses will be required to file and injured spouse claim.

Please see link to IRS site that provides some FAQs regarding Economic Impact Payments and treasury offset.  We will be using this as a guide for calls we receive from the public: https://fiscal.treasury.gov/top/faqs-for-the-public-covid-19.html.

If a customer is receiving an economic impact payment jointly with their spouse and owes a child support debt, the other spouse can file an injured spouse form with the IRS. Please visit the IRS website at https://www.irs.gov/forms-pubs/about-form-8379  to file a claim.
