Children Available for Adoption
The following are children are in the Permanent Custody of the SCDJFS and are available for adoption. If you are interested in adopting or learning more about any of these children, please contact an SCDJFS Adoption Worker. Adoption Subsidies may be available.
Joshua
Birth Year: 2011

Joshua is a special little boy with lots of love to give. Joshua likes to pay with cones, puzzles, monster trucks, and play outside. Joshua is diagnosed with Autism and behavior disorder. Joshua works with therapists to make
sure he is getting all of his psychological needs met. Joshua is non verbal and is learning to use an iPad to express his needs. Joshua attends speech, occupational, and physical therapy and needs to continue to make sure he
is making progress. Joshua is on an IEP at school for Autism and a developmental disability and receives services through school as well.
A family interested in Joshua will need to have time to dedicate to his basic and special needs. They will need to be willing to advocate to make sure he is getting his educational, psychological, and behavioral needs met. The family should be loving, and patient and need to be committed to working with Joshua as he does not trust or adjust to change very quickly.
Bostyn

Bostyn is a handsome young man who likes Legos and video games. Bostyn is also artistic. Bostyn desires commitment from a family who he can trust. Bostyn requires dedication and someone who can enforce rules and boundaries. |
