Success Story –
McKala enrolled in the youth program in August 2020. She was not working or going to school. Recently, she graduated from the Adult Education Office Administration Class at Vanguard-Sentinel Career and Technologies Centers in May of 2021. After graduation she was working hard trying to find a job that best works for her schedule and career path. It took a little bit of searching but she is now employed at a local pediatrician’s office where she utilizes the knowledge that she learned in her office administration course. This job allows her to gain experience working in a health care setting while still working in an office. McKala enjoys working in a local office and interacting with members in the community.
McKala stated that “She wants to make a better life for herself and her children and set an example for her children that there are opportunities out there.”
